Neil EvansDO ND (Hons)
I graduated from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in 1990. After qualifying I spentthree years working in Hawkes Bay before returning to the UK. I then worked in a large multidisciplinary practice in East Yorkshire for eleven years. I was a partner in the practice for five years. We had a team of eight osteopaths, two acupuncturists, a homeopath, Alexander technique practitionerand physiotherapist offering a comprehensive health care approach.
In 2004 my wife and I decided to move to Hawkes Bay to live. The relaxed, outdoorlifestyle plus the weather were too much to resist.
I started the clinic in October 2004 and since then the practice has grown. I now have anotherosteopath, two midwives and a beauty therapist working with me.
I see a variety of spinal, muscle and joint problems, and have an interest in treating sportsinjuries. Whilst in England I ran a dedicated sport injury clinic looking after many elite andprofessional athletes as well as plenty of "weekend warriors!"
I enjoy attending post graduate courses each year, as I still (after all this time) love to learn and thesecourses provide me with new techniques and approaches that keep my approach to patients problems fresh.
I really enjoy my job and never mind going to work. I see patients of all ages and from all walks oflife. I love the variety of patients I work with and still get a kick out of helping people feel pain freeagain!
I am happily married and have four children, three daughters and one son. My youngest daughter is at kindy, I have a daughter at primary school, a son at intermediate and my eldest daughter at highschool.
I love sport, (both playing and watching) and the outdoors. I enjoy mountain biking, soccer, squashand golf. When time permits I love hiking and camping with the family.Email Neil

I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, London in 2010. Since graduating, I was fortunate to work in a number of clinics and even establish a small clinic in my home town in Hampshire, UK. This all culminated in broadening my opinions, techniques and experiences over the last 5 years.
I am very passionate about my job, I love meeting new people, learning and developing new skills and treating a variety of ages and health complaints.
I have always had a keen interest in treating pregnant women, new mums, babies and children. In 2014, I completed a further 2 years training at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC), London where I achieved a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy.
Having specialised in extensive paediatric and cranial osteopathy, I went on to volunteer weekly at the OCC where I treated newborn babies, children and young adults for a variety of both simple and complex cases.
As well as experience in dealing with women and children, I was involved with the local Mixed Martial Arts clubs and The Sports Centre, giving me the experience in treating sports enthusiasts, athletes and martial artists.
It has always been a dream of mine to move to New Zealand, so am delighted to be based in Hawke's Bay and explore all it has to offer.Email Natasha

I was born in Paris, France. I studied medicine in Paris for two years before deciding I would rather be an osteopath than a doctor.
I moved to Maidstone in the UK to follow my dream and study to be an osteopath. I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy where I received an integrated Masters degree with first class honours.
I like all sorts of sports and I am a keen swimmer and horse rider. I have recently developed an interest in yoga, pilates and meditation. I am also passionate about nutrition and cooking.
I am always looking to learn and find solutions to help patients get great results with my treatment.
I am looking forward to the challenge of working in a busy multi practitioner clinic like Evans Osteopaths and I can’t wait to discover all the wonderful opportunities Hawkes Bay and New Zealand offers.
I am 100% committed to getting the best results possible for my patients. I am looking forward to meeting and treating you! à bientôt!Email Margot

I am from South Wales and studied at Swansea University where I graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy degree in 2014. I first experienced Osteopathy as a teenager after a fall from my horse left me with severe lower back and neck pain. After successful treatment with an osteopath I always had Osteopathy in mind as a career choice. I am still a keen showjumper (even after multiple falls!) and love to be outdoors preferably skiing, running or on a mountain bike! Since qualifying I have worked between two busy clinics in South Wales alongside a number of respected osteopaths. I have a keen interest in professional development and in particular the use of osteopathy in the treatment of headaches. I completed my master’s dissertation on the effectiveness of osteopathy for migraine headaches. I love my job and I thrive off helping my patients gain a healthier and more active lifestyle. New Zealand is a beautiful country, and am very grateful to have the opportunity to move here and work at Evans Osteopaths.Email Cari
I grew up in England and Dubai, and studied at Leeds Beckett University, where I graduated with a Masters of Osteopathy in 2016. I strongly believe that all treatments should be patient-centred and tailor-made for each individual person to ensure the best outcome.
I am always keen to increase my knowledge and learn about the latest developments in Osteopathy as it is continuously evolving. I have a particular interest in cranial osteopathy, kinesiology taping and sport trauma management. For my final year dissertation, I conducted a research study on the effects of kinesiology tape on muscle contraction.
Since qualifying, I have worked in several clinics in the UK. I also supported athletes at the British athletic championships, as well as working pitch-side for School Rugby in Gloucester and Amersham and Chiltern RFC over the past two seasons.
Outside of work, I am interested in travelling, meeting new people and discovering different cultures, particularly their cuisine! I also have a love for sports, including skiing, scuba diving and watch rugby at every opportunity I get.Email Joad
